François-Pierre Gauvin

François-Pierre leads the development of evidence briefs and issue briefs, contributes to the translation of briefs and dialogue summaries into French, and supports their evaluation. He also leads the francophone outreach activities of the McMaster Health Forum and Health Systems Evidence. Francois-Pierre is a member of the National Collaborating Centre for Healthy Public Policy at the Institut national de santé publique du Québec. His research focuses on public engagement in addressing socially and ethically complex public policy issues. He is also interested in the potential of deliberative forums to find innovative solutions to collective problems. Francois-Pierre holds a PhD in health research methodology from McMaster University, as well as a BA and MA in political science from Université Laval.
